When Ava Hope was born one rainy Sunday morning, we were expecting a girl, and thought she might resemble her older sister with brown eyes and brown curly hair. What we got was quite the opposite. We were given a blonde-haired, extra-beautiful blue-eyed baby girl . . . who happened to have an extra chromosome.
