One thing we can do to end abortion is pray, and 40 Days for Life has been a leader in turning the focus of pro-life people in that direction. The 40-day fall campaign is September 28 through November 6, 2011.
Baptists for Life is joining the effort by calling on constituents to personal and corportate prayer, as well as challenging them to gather with fellow church members outside local abortion clinics during the campaign. If your church would like to commit one day (a 24 hour period) to pray at the Heritage Clinic in West Michigan, please email BFL board member Carla Ludwig or phone her at (616) 485-7594. In order to ensure that all 40 days are covered in prayer, please let Carla know what day your church would like to be on-site at the clinic. A how-to packet is available.
